Tim Roth

Timothy Simon Roth (nato il 14 maggio 1961) è un attore e regista inglese. Fu tra gli attori britannici più noti come il "Brit Pack". Per la sua interpretazione in Rob Roy (1995), Roth ha vinto un BAFTA ed è stato nominato all'Oscar e al Golden Globe. Dopo aver attirato l'attenzione nelle produzioni televisive Made in Britain (1982) e Meantime (1983), Roth fu nominato al BAFTA Award come Esordio Promettente per il suo debutto cinematografico The Hit (1984). Ha ottenuto ulteriore riconoscimento per i suoi ruoli in film, tra cui The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), Vincent & Theo e Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (entrambi del 1990). Roth ha collaborato con Quentin Tarantino in diversi film, tra cui Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Four Rooms (1995) e The Hateful Eight (2015). Roth ha debuttato alla regia con~ The War Zone (1999). Ha interpretato Cal Lightman nella serie Fox Lie to Me (2009–2011), Jim Worth / Jack Devlin nella serie Sky Atlantic Tin Star (2017–2020) ed Emil Blonsky / Abominio nell'Universo Cinematografico Marvel, inclusi i film The Incredible Hulk (2008), Shang-Chi e la leggenda dei dieci anelli (2021) e la serie Disney+ She-Hulk: Avvocato (2022).
